I’m gonna make a change

I’m Gonna Make A Change,
For Once In My Life
It’s Gonna Feel Real Good,
Gonna Make A Difference
Gonna Make It Right . . .

As I, Turn Up The Collar On
My Favorite Winter Coat
This Wind Is Blowin’ My Mind
I See The Kids In The Street,
Without Enough To Eat
Who Am I, To Be Blind?
Pretending Not To See
Their Need . . .

Michael Jackson

I cry every time I hear this song. I want to make a change. I want to make a difference in someone’s life. I want one child in this world to know that strangers really do care. That love can transcend family lines and borders. That it doesn’t matter where we are from but that we are all part of the same global family. I imagine myself in a town or village with kids draped all over me, and they are feeling a sense of safety and hopefulness. I want to make a change.
